Patio Repair Services in Dublin
Most patios start showing their age eventually, whether that’s sunken slabs, crumbling pointing or a few individual slabs that have been damaged. The good news is that these problems can often be put right without ripping up the whole surface, which saves you a fair bit of money and gives your patio many more years of use.
Our patio repair team in Dublin will happily give you a free estimate for getting your patio back in shape. We cover everything from a simple clean and regrout to lifting sunken sections, sorting drainage problems and plenty more besides.
What Type Of Patios We Repair In Dublin
Subsidence is a common culprit, leaving slabs sunken or uneven, which looks untidy and can be a real trip hazard. We lift the affected areas, rebuild the base layers properly and relay the slabs to the right levels and falls.
Cracked or broken slabs can happen to anyone. Maybe something heavy was dropped, frost has taken its toll, or settlement has put pressure on certain pieces. We can replace individual slabs, though it’s not always possible to match the existing stone perfectly, particularly with natural materials that vary from one batch to the next.
When pointing fails, water gets in and weeds start to appear. We rake out the worn mortar and repoint carefully, sealing the joints against the weather while leaving enough flexibility to stop new cracks forming.
Occasionally a patio wasn’t installed correctly in the first place. Wrong falls, a poor base or unsuitable materials for the spot can mean repairs only ever act as a temporary fix. We’ll always be honest with you about whether a simple repair or a full lift and relay makes better sense in the long run.
We also take on smaller jobs, such as relevelling sunken areas beside buildings, improving drainage or replacing damaged edging that has let the patio spread over time. Getting these issues sorted early helps stop bigger problems from developing.
Alongside our patio repairs, we also offer new patio installations in Dublin, limestone patio installations and more.
