Porcelain Paving Installation in Dublin
We install porcelain paving for patios, pathways and outdoor areas right across Dublin. Porcelain gives you consistent colour, very little upkeep and a level of durability that standard slabbing simply can’t match.
Porcelain paving suits most garden areas in Dublin, including:
- Patios and seating areas: The non-porous surface shrugs off stains from food, drinks and furniture marks
- Pathways and walkways: It won’t fade or discolour over time, so it looks as good years from now as the day it went down
- Pool and spa surrounds: R11-rated options give you excellent slip resistance when wet
Porcelain needs different groundwork from natural stone. We install it on either a concrete base with adhesive fixing, or on a pedestal system for raised spaces such as roof terraces. With the concrete base method, we lay a 100mm reinforced slab, fix the tiles with flexible adhesive, then grout with specialist compounds so the porcelain bonds properly.
We always recommend a resin grout for porcelain. It’s flexible, highly resistant to the weather, and can be coloured to contrast nicely with your tiles.
For patios, we can also use a sand and cement bed installation, similar to natural stone, although the adhesive method gives better long-term stability. On average, a standard patio takes between 2 and 4 days from start to finish.
Alongside porcelain tiling, we offer other surfacing options for your patio, including paving, sandstone installations and limestone.
