Poor soil means a poor lawn, no matter how good the turf is. We level and grade everything carefully, creating gentle falls away from buildings so water doesn’t pool.
Before the turf goes down, the ground gets a final rake and a light consolidation. You want it firm enough to walk on without sinking, but never packed down hard.
